| | | | Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 59 | I believe I have the correct rods. I am using the same rods that came with the truck and engine. There is a lot of slop on the bracket that is closest to the firewall and I'm thinking that is the issue. when it doesn't want to go into 2nd I move the bracket on the rod a little and then it will go into gear but then a couple times after shifting a couple times it doesn't want to go into 2nd again. I really am bewildered at what to do. | | |
