Hy metal shaper, there is nothing missing that I'm aware of. I've never seen any hangup problems with this type of engine mounting. In your pictures it shows the transmission with the stubshaft mounted, is the ball collar loose enough to allow the stubshaft to move around a bit? Hope that helps.
