When I pulled the 216 out of my 50 Chevy 3100 truck, I hand to unbolt two (or maybe four) front motor mount bolts that that went through the front frame cross member. For the two center bolts (with large holes), it seemed like there were two rubber washers (or maybe like donuts) that were underneath the frame where the nuts were. It was hard to tell with 60 years of gunk packed on the frame and whatever it was was completely rotted. The frame has two small holes and then two large between the small holes. Is there supposed to be a frame bushing between the frame and the bottom of the motor mount tray or does the motor mount just bolt directly to the frame? Don't know why the center holes are so large. Don't know if I can post pictures.
