Hey Pete, I'm glad to hear that you got it up and running.
My carb is rebuilt. I took it to a shop that works on old cars and the gentelman that owns the shop said he wouldn't work on it because he has had nothing but trouble with rebuilt Carters. Hey said they get warped and don't work properly. I explained my problem to him and he siad he bet it was my carb and not my mechanical skills. I think I am going to go to NAPA and get a rebuild kit, go thru it myself and try it again.
I know what your saying about your job getting in the way of working on your truck. I guess it makes it that much more enjoyable when you do get the time to work on your truck. I know it does for me.
