I am still working on getting it dialed in. The rochester had more internal return spring than the carter so I need to put a little more spring on the throttle rod to get it to let off quickly.
I can't see where there is a lot of adjustment except the idle screw. There may be something internal to lean it out if I need to -- don't know yet. Was yours rebuilt before you put it on?Mine is a lot smoother at low end now with no hesitation. Will let you know after I have had a chance to work on it. Making a living has been getting in the way of working on it. Pete
