"hello

i browsed the site for information

i am not a member but have hard time finding help

i would like to put a 91 truck engine onto the sm318 3speed

originally this trans was mated to the 327 2 bbl in the 65 c10

the bellhousing fits the back of the 350 ( tbi centerbolt heads 1 piece rear main seal) with the 350 flywheel but i did not have the clutch on

crank turned freely

before i go further, should i go with the 327 flywheel....im some i will have issues with the crank since the 350 is externally ballanced

the 327 has a 12" clutch
a vortec flywheel with 168 teeth is compatible with 12" clutch so im told

being 65, is the bell housing same as the 68-91 manual 4-11/16" housings?

would i need a spacer or adapter for the fork or shaft?

any wisdom tips or links to search would be appreciated
