I've been doing some reading and thought I'd ask you guys. I did not know that fusable links are available in a bulk length. I know better than to cheap out on such matters and have not heard of maxifuses, so I go do some more homework.
OH they're just a brand name for a slightly different blade fuse... maybe a little heavier duty. I found the mad electrician guy before and see they have fusable links. I'll bet so does my three local auto electrical supply houses have them as well.
I'm 3 yrs w/ this truck and the project is getting to be fun. So tasks like crimp, solder and shrink are no problem going back to my antiques M/C as a teen till the present. It's just that the truck and rod sceen is a whole new learning curve, and fun too. The gauges used were just for example when I posed this question.
Thanks for the suggestions and I'll improve on my AD wiring design project. Yes I have lots of fuses and relays. This is just a good way to learn more
