Then, put the crank handle on the assembly and try to wind the tongue out as far as it will go. You may get lucky and the tongue come all the way out if the little stop button on the end is gone, or the assembly is worn that much.....
The windshield will HAVE to come loose one way or the other but with the assembly hanging or the tongue all the way out may help...or may not? Just a thought.
yes, the hinge was frozen on my 37 and it took some patience to keep from ruining it. | | |
