Here is my take, at this point in time there is a lot of interest in old chevies, meaning their are a lot of part sources and availability. The reason seems to be the price of scrap, when they are gone it will require you to purchase the Re-pop products most guys complain about.

And by the way when I was working and restoring a 36 Plymouth I informed my wife one hour a day was mine to devote to the restoration, regardless of other obligations, we had a understanding and she was most pleased with the result.
