I haven't seen much discussion on these old military trucks. Basically the G506 was the series name for Chevy 1-1/2 tons.
I recently spotted 3 of these in various decay in a field. The bodies look like they've been hacked and abused but the frames and drivetrain on them look solid yet. I'd say the three may make one manageable, complete one.
Do these share anything with the big bolts of the 40's? Or are any parts available? Anyone know who made the transfer case or front axle?
I wonder if these are worth anything? I see Power Wagons in horrible shape demanding huge $$. But that's due to demand. Just curious if I should waste anytime looking into them. So I'm gathering some information first.
