Anyone know the skinny on what's necessary to swap one into a slightly-off-topic '76 Chevy G10 van??? It has a well-worn 350 4-bbbl and TH350 in it now. Rather than spend the money on a rebuild or a reman engine, I was thinking of finding a wrecked truck or van with the 5.3L auto for a complete drivetrain swap. Anyone have any experience with this swap, or the same eng/trans into an older Chevy?
