#91611 08/07/2002 3:35 AM | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | the reason for the horn relay is to run the full power from battery to horn without having it go thru the steering column - safer and allows for lighter wires in the column, where their only function is to energize the relay. as for the pos/neg, should be ground to ground and hot to horn [thru relay]. or whatever works!
