#91610 08/07/2002 2:59 AM | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 | i bought a generic replacement horn for my 48 gmc and proceeded to install it. knowing nothing of what i was doing, it was all trial and error. i found that the horn worked no matter which way i hooked up the two horn wires to the horn. cool with me! so does it matter which wires go to which terminal on the horn? also the old horn had a relay, do i need one? how about an inline fuse? its working without either. thanks!
