The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline Change from 3 in the tree to 4 on the floor

Hello, I have a 1953 3600 and I was just wondering would it be fairly easy to replace a column shift 3 speed transmission be replace with a 4 speed stick shift?

Were they fairly interchangeable back then or is it a can of worms?
