Good information on the rust proofing concept. I will do more research on that.
How about other preventive maintenance tricks of the trade/lessons learned that you've gathered?? All you guys that have been doing this for years must have a kit bag full of tricks and other know how that a rookie like me should know.
I was just thinking that I've never been near my truck with a grease gun. I'll have to dig into the shop manual and see what it says about grease.
