If you have nothing hooked up, use a garden hose to supply water to what would be the return heater hose. Cap both radiator hoses, and regulate the water flow coming out of the upper heater hose.
Hot wire the coil right off the battery ( 12 volt coil with 12 v batt.)
12 volts to starter will not hurt a 6 volt starter for limited use.
fresh gas from separate container in case fuel system is in question,
fresh oil and prime oil pump. ( any old distributor shaft cut off in 1/2" drill will work for primer )
Pull rocker cover to check for said oil while priming,
