For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 123 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 123 | I have a 1950 216 engine. For the last two years I have worked on cleaning, painting frame, suspension etc... Now I would like to start the motor to see if it works well or needs a tear down. 1- where do I get a pump to fit in the distributor hole to pump the oil? 2- Everything was 6V. Can I use a 12V to get it started? 3- Anything in particular I need to do before I try starting. Nothing is hooked up to the motor at this time. Ed | | |
