Starting in 1967, casting # 3851659 had 1/2" Bolt Holes in Crankshaft Flange.
I'm sorry, but I have to ask again.. The casting # you refer to are the same..
This is what I find when I look it up:
3851659 Chevrolet 63-76 292
So I do understand it's possible it is from '63-'66, but what I don't understand is how you guys know/say it's not a newer model.. from for example '66-'76
