You should not have bought it BUT, there is an easy fix. Buy a new ram with the ears.($49 on sale minus 20% coupon from any car/truck magazine or flier = $40) Can't weld to that cheap casting bottom cap. Under load, that thing will slide off there and kill whoever is standing next to it!!!!! Glad I could help P.S. A pretty girl could take it back and exchange.
