I got a pretty good deal on this 1 ton HF engine hoist. Hoist plus 2 load levelers for $100 from a guy on CL.
It wasn't a dealbreaker, but I was very annoyed that the seller didn't tell me that the ram was replaced with an 8 ton ram without the correct foot plate.
I'd like to hear your ideas on how to make this thing stable.
I rolled my eyes when the seller said to just use it like it is.
