me too - think the cigarette lighter back then was frequently refered to as a cigar lighter - not too likely anyone [let alone GM] would have made a special lighter for a cigar vs cigarette, especially one that nipped the ends!!
seems I heard mrFord didn't allow OEM lighters at all, at least early on
