Hate to belabor this folks but here is what i've done. Checked the headlight socket wiring to make sure the right wires go to the right places. I cleaned the terminals. I've bypassed the dimmer switch and finally I ran a ground strap from the inner fender ground connection to a spot on the chassis. Still no difference. Thanks all.
