Okay. I just tried replacing the positive cable with one booster cable. It starts, although it doesnt spin with enthousiasm.
This got me thinking about the size of the replacement GROUND cable that was installed after my 'voltage regulator' fallout. It's small. Less than half an inch. Too small for a 6 volt system?
