If your jumping a 12 volt to a 6 volt watch out,,I did that with my S-10 to a 53 Chev car once,and the Cables(where the plastic handles are)started melting),,Also on the VCCA website,they said Disconnect the Negative connection(I think on the block)when jumping...Or it will burn out parts on your 6-volt,,You can check over to VCCA website,,I'm sure its over there someplace,,,,Just a word to the wise....
