I no longer have either engine. But the cylinder head has a 1/8 inch pipe plug on the passenger side about center in the head close to where the valve cover gasket sits. The other end ties in with the oil pressure gauge.

As was said earlier, with a fresh rebuild, you shouldn't need that line. But make sure the correct head bolt is used so that the oil can flow around it to get to the rockers.

I installed one just for grins and giggles. I wanted to make sure the top end had oil. Overkill, but never had any problems.
