Pulled the starter and I was able to hand crank the engine to get it to turn. Looked at the starter a little and it was turning as well. Put the starter back on, hooked up the battery and it started right up.
I'm guessing it was starter problems, either in a bind or going bad.
Thanks for the help. I'm sure ill be back in the engine shop in a few months to tackle the ticking and some other problems.
