If the truck was on your property homeowners insurance might cover it.
I have an uninsured truck in my short driveway right now and it makes me a bit uneasy just sitting like that for the past couple weeks. Homeowners will cover mine so long as it hasn't been sitting unused (aka abandoned) for a long period.
