#89651 09/30/2004 12:05 AM | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 58 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 58 | I am putting one of my 69 c-10s back together and was told that the voltage regulator should not touch (metal to metal)the radiator support. I found that everyone agreed with this so I bought the "voltage regulator bolts" that are insulated and made a gasket to mount my regulator. Here's where I became puzzled. As I was connecting the wiring harness, it had a wire from a sheet metal screw on the base of the regulator to the radiator support. Should I leave this wire unhooked?
