If you do some research you may find a frame you won't need to cut. AD truck,suburban,panel wheelbase is 115" / Fullsize shortbed Chevy 4x4, 70s-80s wheelbase is 117". An ORD shackleflip can help relocate the rearend to the wheel opening. extra width may not be an issue on a lifted truck.
You can also pick up the donor in pieces. We bought our frame for $50 on CL.
