Truck has original "bed". The original wood & metal strip floor in my truck is shot. wood cracked up, broken out in one place. metal strips corroded in a couple of places. Sheet metal in good shape.
Regarding the DIY. I don't have the time (as I am on the road way too much nowadays working, gone for days and weeks at a time) Nor does my back allow too much heavy lifting, though I abuse that often (football saw to that). As much as I would love to make it a project, Its just not in the cards.
