Howdy Grigg --- The trans comes with the TPS and an A53 TCM which they will program but no harness. They are made up for each application by the chassis manufacturers but it looks like my best bet is starting with a Gen 4 harness from an International and paring it down to what little I need. I spoke with the Allison rep who happened to be at Stewart & Stevenson while I was there and they really like the way IHC puts theirs together. Just now starting a search for one.

The water/oil cooling for the tranny could get tricky since I have so little room in the "V" shaped nose of this old '46. The radiator & turbo intercooler have to jam in there as well an electric fan. Gonna be tight.

Found the 7 point shifter (Trans also has a parking pawl) through Orscheln Products. They can also supply throttle pedals, fill & dipstick kits and a few other Allison related items in case anyone else is looking.

And BTW...since you are the master of axle info & updates, by any chance do you know the WMS to WMS measure on the rear of a '46 1.5T dually? Need that number but it will be a while before I can pull any wheels and none of the books I have even list them.

And...just in case anyone besides me was unaware of this...
Never, ever weld on any vehicle that has any onboard computers (especially TCM's) without disconnecting the battery. It can cook everything instantly. I, for one, was totally unaware of this so I wanted to pass it on.
