The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay electrical conundrum...get ready, it's a doozy

Is the distributor groundedto the engine? I know it is with pertronix, but i cant remember if it is with traditional points. I was looking at wiring diagram from truck shop manual, and it only shows wire coming from points to negative side of coil. Doesnt indicate separate wire going from outsideof distributor and grounding to engine.
