This may be a dumb question, but do the 235's have any allowable side to side play of the distributer shaft within the housing? I'm just getting ready to do a tune up on the ignition system and noticed a lot of wear on a few of the distributer cap contacts. So naturally I check the shaft and it is pretty loose in there.
