Hy again 1936only, you made a statement that 250s had the same engine mounts as 292s, unfortunately that statement is not true. The 292 engine is the only Chevy engine I know of where the engine mounts are offset, that is to say one side mount is a different distance from the front of the engine than the other, hope that helps.
