Hi all,
So, I got some major sticker shock today. Stopped by Jim Green's Performance on my way home to get an estimate for a mild small block and a manual trans. He is a very reputable speed shop guy and does great work. However, the 9 to 12K estimate almost knocked me over! This is not a stroker motor, just a .030 over 325 HP 350 and a new T5 plus R&R of my old motor and SM420. What do you guys think? I see rebuilt 350's every day for 2K and T5's for around $500. This should be an easy, quick swap right? What am I missing?
