Thanks all for your replies. Looks like a crate motor is the unanimous recommendation. Will take a closer look at Summit and Jegs tonight.
My radiator plus a fan shroud should take care of cooling.
Will be looking for a T-10 or Muncie transmission next. I am thinking that a wide ratio would be better for my usage - easier towing with a lower 1st gear. Any other thoughts?
