looks to be in very good shape for 3500.
Learning to drive in that truck will be a great experience.
When I was a Kid I learned to drive in my 1950 3100 and a 1966 ford falcon.
"Hamb-Worthly" and "build thread" makes it sound like you have grand plans for the truck, sounds cool.
I agree with what was stated above. Just drive and enjoy the truck for a while.
