Do you know whether the shift lever from a T5 will interfere with a stock seat? Will the factory clutch linkage work?
Looks like 60 mph with a 0.72 OD is about 1700 rpm. Pretty low but still useable on flat roads.
Would a T10 fit the bill? There are several on the local Craigslist, including one with a fresh sbc.
