For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 7 | I have a 1949 3600 pickup with what I am sure are the wrong wheels as they are not split rim. The fronts rub on the tie rod ends when you turn. What is the remedy for this problem? what wheels will fit it? I am told that later model 3/4 ton aluminum wheels are the way to go but the center holes need to be bored. I suppose there is a way to convert to 6 bolt rims also which would certainly give me more options
