Instead of trying to link us straight to your photo, link us to your complete photo album. That might work.
Fully ground your sending unit. On the gas guage, on the "F" side, that wire should go to the post on your fuel sending unit. From your power source, i.e battery on your washer
or from your ignition switch in the truck, that should go to "E" side of the gas guage. now, with your guage out of the truck, you need to also ground your fuel gauge. When the guage is in the cluster housing that is the ground. With the guage on your washing machine
just run a seperate ground wire on the fuel gauge and you should be in business......
