I actually started to make one of those as a replacement but put it on a back burner. I'll give my soldered up original another go now that I've tested it with 20 lbs psi. It was a good idea but I think the copper line is too large. There isn't enough room to solder and align the fins. If/when I try it again I'd use a size or two smaller dia. line and be careful aligning the holes in the fins so things fit snug but free enough to slide around the two lines.
Those were the problem areas I found. Its time consuming but it leaves your wallet a LOT fatter.+
