The 1952 Operator's Manual calls for #55 six-volt bulbs in the instrument cluster. Use #57 if your electrical system has been converted to twelve volts. Gas Gauge Info from Fifth Avenue Antique Auto Parts: "If dash gauge reads, FULL when tank is known to be only half full the wiring between the tank or the sender is bad. Ground the gas tank sender terminal using a jumper wire, if the dash gauge still shows full there is bad wiring between the dash gauge and the tank sender. If the dash gauge goes to empty, the gas tank sender is defective."> 1952 Operator's Manual - full> Bulb Chart - 1952 Operator's Manual> Gas Gauge Problems - Fifth Avenue > More Gas Gauge Info - Chevytrucks(dot)org
