1955 second with misc 1976 parts. Previous owner had a monkey business stop light switch. Replaced all brackets and got a real good install. Everything seemed to work sweetly....until I hit a road bump, now I have 4 way flashers always on, until I depress the brake pedal. Then brakes work, and the front signals alert someone in front of me that my brakes are working too! So....checked for loose connections obviously. My electrical system is a rats nest. Mix of old and 50 years of added stuff. Side-cutter special. I plan to trace it all back.....but not tonight. From reading other posts I see the stop light switch works through the steer column turn signal wiring (white wire tagged in). Any ideas? Haven't had time to check ground on everything. Thanks for any thoughts.
