Hi. I found a '67 283 for a reasonable price, and with all the issues I seem to be having with my 235, I was considering doing an engine swap. By the pictures it looks like it has the two engine mounting holes on either side of the Harmonic Balancer. So does that mean I can buy the Factory style V8 mounts? I do NOT want to use the aftermarket Tubular style V8 Engine Mount Crossmember. My question is: up to what year did the 283 have the mounting holes for the original-factory style V8 mounts? Also, what year range of Bell Housing will I need for my '59 3100?
