You can use most bell houseings for 55-72 v-8 & 63-72 six cyl. The exceptions are the 68 up 4 speeds & some 3 speeds had a larger center hole.
I have a '63-'66 inline 292 ( block code 3851659 ) in my garage. So can I use both the bell housing and flywheel off that engine for my 283?
