Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,182 | I'm not real familiar with the wiring for your truck, but it sounds like the wire that feeds voltage to your gas gauge is in the same circuit as the wire that feeds your coil, and something came loose when you hit the bump. I'd check for loose connections or a pinched wire somewhere under the hood. Trace the hot wire back from the coil and see what it leads to. | | |
