? i am in the process of doing a 216 to 235 replacement is going with the adapter plate the best solution or is going with the short shaft pump the best way. my engine rebuilder said i could have over heating going with the adapter plate. also can i use the 216 manafold .my exhaust manafold were it ties to the pipe has a slite angle i was told it may be a 235 manafold ? the manafold has mumbers on it G M 38s5627 can i get a set of step down manafold rings for the 235 i am a newby Herb from maine
