for a 1/2T . . . . mmmm maybe ok - 3/4T would prolly be fine - depends on the rear end ratio it has - get it runnin good, check the ratio, try agin w/ a buddy to pace ya at an agreed speed, or clock it over "flying miles" - the speedo might be off
