Looking at the Business End of 1 of my spare flashers,arrange/turn the flasher so that the terminals are at 9:00,12:00+3:00 position.
9:00 is X
12:00 is P
3:00 is L
This is a Tung Sol # 535 6 Volt flasher and Echlin is the same
I believe that 6 or 12 volt flashers have the same wire diagram.
It wouldn,t make sense to change the socket orientation.
