This search has provided with some information, but need some further help.I too have a auto lamp 9000 unit. It has a red, black, green/white strip, and a orange/green strip wire harness. Mixed in with this is a 3 terminal 12v flasher. The flasher does not have any terminal ID number/letters on it. From above post, Chevy1 outlines the following:
-Orange wire from signal unit goes to the "P" terminal on the flasher
-Black wire from the signal unit goes to the "L" terminal on the flasher
-The "X" terminal post on the flasher goes to power supply
Is there any way to test my flasher to identify which terminal is the X, L, and P?? IF not, do the new flashers have these same terminal identifications?
